Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park
Your Beach to Bush Tanzania safari will begin with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar by a driver-guide from Salt Holidays, followed by a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your bush flight to Serengeti National Park. The flight journey includes a stop at Arusha Airport before reaching Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 am. Once you arrive, your guide will be waiting for you, and you will embark on a thrilling game drive in the Serengeti plains. Enjoy views of the stunning landscape and wildlife until the stunning sunset. After experiencing this breathtaking moment, head to your lodge for check-in, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
You will spend the whole day in Serengeti National Park exploring. Start the day with an early breakfast and head to the park at sunrise. Throughout the day, you will be on the lookout for the Big Five—lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, and elephants—and other wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, cheetahs, African wild dogs, and warthogs. Enjoy the stunning landscapes.
Serengeti National Park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to over 500 recorded species, including the distinctive ostrich and the fascinating secretary birds, the elegant black eagles, which you will see soaring across the savannah, among others. Enjoy a picnic lunch served at one of the picnic sites in the park and continue exploring till sunset; you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today, you can choose to have an early sunrise game drive in the Serengeti plains or have a more leisurely morning by enjoying breakfast at your lodge before embarking on an en-route game drive as you leave Serengeti and continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Along the way you will enjoy an en-route lunch and a visit to the Olduvai Gorge, a paleoanthropological site and a cradle of mankind where Dr. Leakey and his wife discovered fossilized remains of early hominids. Continue to your lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Drive – Departure
Start your day as early as 6:00 am with breakfast and head out to Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the Seven African Wonders, formed two million years ago during a massive volcanic eruption, creating a fertile lava landscape and a unique ecosystem.
Ngorongoro Crater is known for hosting the highest concentration of animals in Africa; the crater hosts several prides of lions, herds of buffaloes and elephants, wildebeests, and other species, which you will be delighted to see during the crater game drive. Afterwards, you will ascend the crater and transfer to Arusha, where you will arrive at around 15:30 hours to catch your flight back to Zanzibar Island, bringing your safari to an end.
