Day 1: Fly to Serengeti National Park
Our Salt Holidays Representative (Your Driver) will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer you to Arusha Airport for your mid-morning flight to Serengeti’s Seronera Airstrip. Arriving at around 1100 hours, you will be received by our safari guide with your packed lunch boxes. After a short briefing, you will embark on a game drive, exploring the Serengeti Plains for the rest of the day and looking out for predators like lions, cheetahs, African wild dogs, and spotted hyenas chasing down antelopes, among others. In the evening, you will drive to your lodge for check-in and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2-3: Explore Serengeti National Park
Spend these days exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park on full-day game drives.
The Serengeti, deriving its name from the Masai word “Siringeti,” meaning Endless open plains,” has a stunningly beautiful landscape made up of shrub savannahs with acacia trees, swamps, rocky kopjes and rising mountains. Serengeti is the most famous park in Africa due to the largest concentration of game drives on the continent and the migration of millions of wildebeests. Serengeti National Park is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its natural beauty and the diverse range of plants and animals found within the park.
During the full day game drives, this place will captivate your soul with views of its stunning landscape and sightings of its abundant wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, rhinos, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, and Grant and Thomson Gazelles among others. In between the drives, you will enjoy a picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites in the park and continue with the exploration till sunset. Return to your lodge in time for lunch and dinner.
On one of the mornings, you will do a hot air balloon safari flying over the iconic Serengeti savannah plains. You will be picked up from your lodge before dawn and head to the launching site, after briefing and watching the balloon being inflated (which is an amazing sight to see), you will soar into the sky at sunrise and gently fly over Serengeti’s endless plains, watching the wildlife below you, which is a fascinating and peaceful experience that comes with breathtaking panoramic views.

After an early breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and drive to Seronera Airstrip with an en-route game drive through the Serengeti. Catch your morning flight to Arusha Airport; upon arrival, you will be received by our representative, who will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
