Day 1: Welcome To Rwanda
Our representative will collect you from Kigali International Airport upon arrival and drive you to your hotel in Kigali City, where your safari driver-guide will brief you about various aspects of your itinerary and share important tips for your tour before the safari begins.
Overnight and dinner at Hotel des Mille Collines.

Day 2: Kigali city tour + lunch—transfer to Volcanoes national park
You will have breakfast at your lodge before heading out to Kigali City, known as the cleanest city in East Africa. You can look forward to a thrilling day of exploring the handcraft market, the local foods market, and other parts of the city that may interest you. Later on, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum, where you will discover the history of the divisive colonial experience in Rwanda and the background of the horrific genocide, which spanned a mere 100 days. Watch moving video testimony from survivors and view exhibits of the crimes that took place here in 1994.
After lunch in the city, you will take a ride through a scenic drive to the Virunga Mountains Range, which is home to over 360 mountain gorillas.
Along the drive, you will witness splendid, beautifully green hills rolling in the distance as far as your eyes can see. You will check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking – Volcanoes National Park
After having an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters at Kinigi, where you will receive a briefing about the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking. You will then be assigned to a gorilla family and will trek in groups of 8 people into the jungle to search for mountain gorillas.
This sensational trek takes you through forested slopes, tangled vines, Bamboo shoots, dung or nests. The search for early gorilla activity takes approximately 30 minutes to 6 hours, and once you locate the gorillas, you will be able to spend an hour observing them as they play, feed, and care for one another.
You are allowed to take pictures and videos that will help you keep this eternal to Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Departure
You will spend the morning at leisure with a heavy breakfast, check out of the park and transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight back home.
