This 4 Days Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Safari is a short Uganda safari tailored to offer you the best of Uganda in the shortest period of time. On this tour you will trek mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda and home to 22 habituated gorilla families.
Then head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the most popular wildlife park in Uganda, for a game viewing safari. Day 1: Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in the southwestern part of Uganda for gorilla trekking. Along the way you will stop at the Equator for pictures and a chance to stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres; you will have another stopover in Mbarara for lunch and continue to the park, arriving in the evening; and you will check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking—Bwindi forest
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast as early as 06:00 am; with your packed lunch, you will head to the park headquarters, here you will be briefed by the ranger guide about gorilla trekking dos and don’ts. Thereafter, proceed with the ranger guides to look out for mountain gorillas; the trek involves hiking up and down rugged paths whereby you will need to be physically fit and also carry a walking stick. Also, you can use the local porters to carry your luggage.
When you meet the gentle giants, follow what your ranger guide tells you, especially standing 6 meters away from them as you watch the mothers feed the young ones, the juveniles playing and the silverbacks guarding the territory. The territory of the gorilla trek depends on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. After this amazing experience, you will trek back to the park headquarters to pick up your gorilla trekking certificates, meet your driver guide and return to the lodge or go for a walk through the Batwa Community, see how they live and enjoy their cultural performances through dance and drama.

Day 3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha Sector
After your early breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha Sector, which is the southern sector of the park. Along the way you will have sight of different animal species, including the tree-climbing lions, birds, bushbucks, elephants, buffaloes, monkeys and Uganda Kobs.
On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy your lunch as you prepare to engage in a launch/boat cruise on Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. This boat trip takes 2 hours and will give you an opportunity to watch different water animals closer; some of the animals include hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and buffaloes along the banks. Also you will see birds like the saddle-billed stork, African fish eagle, pink-backed pelican, and pied and malachite kingfisher, among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 4: Morning Game drive – Chimpanzee tracking and departure to Kampala
Enjoy breakfast, and then go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Trail, where you will have a chance to see animals such as lions, warthogs, elephants, topis, and buffaloes, among others. Also, you will observe a number of different bird species or choose to visit the Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking. Thereafter, start your journey to Kampala; you will stop over in Mbarara for lunch. You will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
