Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the first day of the 3-day Uganda gorilla trekking tour, our driver guide will pick you up based on your location in Kampala, provide a briefing about the safari, and then start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
During the journey, there will be a stop for lunch, after which you will proceed with breathtaking views of the countryside, stunning landscapes, the Kigezi hills, terraced farmlands, and plantations, among other sights. Upon arriving at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the second day of the 3-day Uganda gorilla trekking tour, you will enjoy an early breakfast before packing your lunch. You will then meet your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you will embark on a trek through the jungle, which can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the location of the mountain gorillas.
While trekking, you will have the opportunity to observe various primates, mammals, a range of bird species, as well as diverse plant and tree species, among others. After locating the gorilla family, you will have the chance to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat. This allows you to observe their daily activities such as feeding, breastfeeding, playing, and grooming their young ones. You can also learn about their habits and behaviors while capturing stunning photos and recording unforgettable moments.
After the one-hour experience with the gentle giants, you will make your way back to the starting point, where you will receive a certificate for your participation in gorilla trekking. You will then meet your driver guide for an optional cultural tour, allowing you to engage with the Batwa, discover their culture, traditions, and way of life, visit their homesteads, hear their ancient stories, and enjoy their traditional performances, among other activities. After the cultural tour, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure to Kampala
After a leisurely breakfast on the final day of the three-day Uganda gorilla trekking tour, you will check out of the lodge and meet your driver guide for the transfer to Kampala. During your journey, you will enjoy a lunch stop in Mbarara town before continuing on to the Equator, where you can take photos and purchase souvenirs, among other activities.
From the Equator, you will proceed to Kampala, arriving in the early evening. Upon your arrival, your driver guide will take you to Entebbe airport for your departure flight or drop you off at a location of your choice.
