Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Your Salt Holidays Guide will pick you up from your hotel of stay in Nairobi, he will brief you about the safari and proceed to depart for Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon go for a game drive that lasts until 18:00 hrs with a chance of seeing lions, elephants, buffaloes, monkeys and many other animals
Also marvel at the views of the Kilimanjaro Mountain on a clear day. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive in Amboseli National Park, Guided Walking Safari
Spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park, with a morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli is termed as an animal’s paradise. Enjoy a later afternoon guided walking safari in the park, and get to come up-close with nature and wildlife.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge

Day 3: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, check out and continue your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park across the rift valley escarpment as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. You will have an en-route game drive during which you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, rhinos, gazelles, buffaloes, antelopes, reedbucks, elands, impalas among others.
Enjoy lunch at the lodge after check in and after lunch, you will have another game drive in the park, visit the flamingoes filled Lake Nakuru which is a good birding spot to see flocks of flamingoes along the lake shores as well as other water bird species and wildlife grazing in the nearby plains. At sunset, you will be driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Day 4: Transfer to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy a delicious breakfast, exit the park and drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the recently erupted Volcano – Mount Longonot en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy en-route, and proceed to the reserve. Enjoy game viewing as you transfer to your camp of stay, check in as you wait for dinner and overnight stay at Julia’s River Camp.

Day 5: Game Drives in Masai Mara, Maasai Cultural Tour
Wake up early and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive and get to see various wild game in the reserve including Big 5 animals. Lookout for various birds in Masai Mara, as well as the beautiful landscape of the park. Enjoy your lunch in the wilderness, and then head out for yet another game drive in the Masai Mara.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge and then depart for Serengeti National Park with game drives en-route. Cross to Tanzania through the Isebania border, and proceed to your lodge of stay. Check-in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay at Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp.

Day 7: Full day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast head out for a full day in Serengeti National Park with both morning and afternoon game drives. Be on a lookout for lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeests, eland, hyenas, gazelles, hippos, and more. You will enjoy your meals and overnight stay as above.

Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Enjoy breakfast, head out with your packed lunch and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and then descend into the Crater floor for a game drive in Ngorongoro. During the game drive you will see several animal species such as lions, leopards, rhinos, hyenas, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras and many more. You will also visit Lake Magadi where you will see pink flamingoes.
Overnight at Hhando Coffee Lodge

Day 9: Drive to Tarangire National Park, Guided Walking Safari
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive to Tarangire National Park where you will have lunch and then go for an evening guided walking safari.
Tarangire is home to large herds of elephants and baobab trees, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, troops of baboons and several bird species and more. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Baobab Tented Lodge

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast at your lodge, embark on a game drive to Arusha arriving in time for your check-in at the airport for your outbound flight or drop off at your hotel.
