This 1-day gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park will start from Kigali city or cities near Volcanoes National Park.
For your gorilla safari in Rwanda, you will wake up as early as 4:00am and transfer to Volcanoes National Park, home to the mountain gorillas in Rwanda. When you reach Volcanoes National Park, you will get to hike the Virunga mountains in Rwanda: Mount Muhabura, Mount Sabyinyo, Mount Gahinga, Mount Karisimbi, and Mount Karisimbi where you will access the habituated gorilla families.
When you reach the park headquarters, you will connect with the RDB officials to brief you about your gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda and the rules and regulations to follow during your gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda. The rangers will lead you deep into the forest in search of the Gorillas.
You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these gentle giants whose company you will cherish for 1 hour. The activity in Rwanda takes between 3-7 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Which you will observe as they carry out their different activities. After the rewarding experience, embark on a trip to Kigali city, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali city at the end of the gorilla safari.
